Models Focus Reviews is a welcome page that tells about the unique Models Focus experience. Parents with their children come to the studio in London for a photoshoot to capture professional images for their child’s modelling book. Uncover how the day goes through the eyes of one of the mothers.
Opportunity
When we arrived a lady spoke to us and she explained all the details of what will happen during the day. After an informative, informal chat of how the day would proceed our daughter was led to get her hair and make-up done by a lovely stylist.
Styling & The Hair and Make up
At the start of your session the lady went through our daughter’s clothes and advised us about all the looks they’ll create for the images. We started with a natural look and then she talked through what hairstyle would suit her the most. I was so pleased with how her hair looked and how quickly and easy the process was. After that we were ready to get her a bit of make up applied! Again, we both agreed on the colors and tones that suited her complexion. I was amazed with the outcome of her hair and how confident and comfortable she felt with the transformation. She was certainly ready for the shoot!
The Photoshoot
After helping her into an outfit that we have had carefully laid out and prepared by a studio stylist, my daughter entered the studio space where the photoshoot was held. With a blank canvas to work with her natural headshots she seemed to be really excited to begin. The photographer was extremely friendly and put her at ease immediately allowing for the shoot to run smoothly. And gradually with direction from the photographer she was able to try out different poses and positions that worked well with particular outfits. When her session progressed her confidence grew noticeably allowing for her to move into various poses without hesitation and improving her body awareness. She really didn’t want her shoot to end and then couldn’t wait to see the final outcome.
The Images
We then sat down with the Models Focus team and were shown the photographs from the earlier shoot. We were blown away by that, so impressed by some of the shots, amazing..! We definitely think that she’s got a lot of potential and she will be able to use it for her book. With advice from the team we began to select the images that worked particularly well and demonstrated her diversity as a model. There was no pressure to pick certain images as the relaxed supportive modelling consultant allowed for me make informed decisions based on their professional opinions.
Visual CV
We now have the images to use for my book and the website with the help of Models Focus. The company clearly knows how vital and important these things are to a professional modelling career. We now are ready to start applying to the modelling agencies they gave us and we have the confidence to do so with my set of exceptional images and experience. It is a definitely worthwhile experience that all aspiring models should seriously consider.
